Natsume or tea jar is a specific type of Japanese tea jar used to store and preserve tea.

Hornbeam ash glaze contains high amounts of calcium and low amounts of alumina and silica. However, the silica and alumina in the clay body fuse with a thin layer of ash glaze to make a glaze that's incredibly hard and robust.
